Payment statuses and corrections

Understand unpaid, pending, authorized, paid, completed, rejected, and correction-required states.

Pending means verification is not complete

A submitted payment can remain pending while BUTIGAL or the provider verifies the sender, amount, currency, reference, evidence, and linked invoice.

A correction request identifies the missing step

A payment may require a clearer receipt, corrected reference, exact amount, different method, additional identification, or confirmation from the provider.

Read the complete notification before resubmitting.
Do not create duplicate payments while review is pending.
Confirm that the invoice balance updates after approval.
