Protect valuable shipments with suitable packaging, declared value evidence, photos, and an understanding of coverage limits.

Insurance does not replace proper packaging

Use packaging appropriate for the item, service, distance, transfers, vibration, stacking, humidity, and handling risk. Poor packaging can limit claim eligibility.

Document value and pre-shipment condition

Keep invoices, serial numbers, product photos, packaging photos, and any condition report. Review coverage limits, exclusions, deductibles, and reporting deadlines.

Photograph fragile and high-value items before packing.
Use the correct declared value.
Do not assume every type of loss is covered.
